SUNYIT is inviting area businesses and employers to take part in its Annual Career Fair.
SUNYIT’s 2010 Career Fair provides an opportunity for students, alumni, and employers to meet informally and learn more about prospective employers, securing internships and full/part time employment.
Employers who register for the 2010 Career Fair will be able to talk to hundreds of current SUNYIT students and recent graduates. The event will be held on Thursday, March 18, noon-3 p.m. in the SUNYIT Campus Center.

1st Annual Healthy & Wealthy Raffle

The RMH Foundation is pleased to kick off its first annual "Healthy & Wealthy" Raffle in support of the Foundation and its mission to support Rome Memorial Hospital. Voices for Christ City-Wide Crusade

FREE admission. Also, free refreshments, back packs and school supplies will be available in limited quantities. The event will feature a Christian talent contest, sermonettes, and choirs, suitable for all ages. The Kid’s Corner will provide fun, games, surprises, and a Baby Contest, all of which will require parental supervision. A job/college fair will include information on job employment, armed services recruitment and college admission. A health/community service fair will include blood pressure screenings and information on health and safety, chiropractics, nutrition, home and elder care, insurance enrollment, etc. In addition, vendors will sell snacks, tasty food, clothing, etc. The event is being sponsored by the Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Rome, the HBMA of Rome/Utica, and the Rome Clergy Association. Christian churches are welcome to participate. Church members are welcome to volunteer. Everyone is invited and should bring their own lawn chairs.
