Exclusive Energy Savings Program for Chamber Members

The Chamber has been offering member businesses an energy savings plan since 2002 through an agreement with Integrys Energy Services of New York. It's for electricity only.

As of October 2012, the Chamber has an agreement with Mirabito Energy Products to offer natural gas to our members.

If you currently buy your energy from National Grid, the following happens when you switch to third party suppliers such as Integrys and/or Mirabito:

• You will not have to pay sales tax on the delivery charge;
• The Merchant Function Charge, MFC, is eliminated; and
• Depending on your location, there may be a one percent Tariff Surcharge savings on the supply.

Both firms work with each other and are available to provide no-obligation quotes for you.

Businesses participating in the electricity savings plan with Integrys save, on average, 5-15%. Mirabito has a number of options including fixed, index adder and market rate pricing in its natural gas savings plan.

The Chamber has a 10-year track record with Integrys, and Integrys has sponsored/participated in many annual Chamber events/activities.

Mirabito, a third generation family-owned business headquartered in Binghamton, is new to the Chamber. Mirabito is celebrating its 85th year of serving the energy needs of New Yorkers, providing a wide range of energy and related products including fuel oil, propane, kerosene, gasoline, diesel fuel, DEF, lubricants, natural gas, and more. Mirabito also currently has a chain of 55 convenience stores.
